Bio:

Melody Tiemann received her BFA from Texas State University-San Marcos and her MFA from The University of Mississippi. She is an Associate Professor of Art at Alabama A&M University teaching ceramics and foundation art courses. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Mississippi Valley State University and Artist-in-residence, clay, at The Appalachian Center for Craft. Her specialization is ceramics, both sculpture and pottery.
